Registration fees listed above are in Australian Dollars (A$) and inclusive of goods and services tax (GST).

*To be entitled to the early registration fee you must have registered and paid by 10 March 2016.

**The Department of Social Services is providing funding to subsidise attendance for people with disability and their carers to MOD.A 2016. It is specifically for those who are unwaged and/or are in receipt of pensions.

To register for the Conference at the subsidised rate please complete the online registration form and select the Disability subsidy rate option. Please note that you will be asked to provide your Concession card number (e.g. DSP or Health Care Card).

This funding is also available to cover the following expenses on application:

  • Registration fee for Carers
  • Travel expenses related to your attendance at the Conference*.
  • Accommodation expenses related to your attendance at the Conference*.

*Reimbursement for travel and/or accommodation expenses will be limited to a total of $300 per person.

Registration Terms and Conditions

The registration fee entitles all delegates to the following:

  • All sessions
  • Satchel: program booklet and list of participants
  • Social functions: Welcome Reception
  • Catering: Morning and afternoon teas, Lunches


Registration confirmation

Your completed registration and successful payment will be acknowledged via email or post with confirmation of your requirements according to your registration form.  Your registration will only be processed or confirmed if payment does accompany your form.

Name badge

Each member of the Conference will receive a name badge upon registration.  The badge will be your official pass and must be clearly visible at all times to obtain entry to all sessions and to social functions. The Conference Managers expect appropriate behaviour from attendees and reserve the right to revoke the badge and privileges of anyone behaving in an inappropriate manner.

Certificate of attendance

Certificates of attendance will be emailed to delegates post Conference.

Credit Card

Please note all online registrations require immediate payment by credit card.  Accepted credit cards: MasterCard, Visa and American Express. Please note all transactions by credit card will appear on your statement as payment to ‘Conference by Arinex Pty Ltd’.

Cheque / Money Order

All payments by cheque incur a $10 processing fee and will only be accepted up until 25 March 2016.  Cheques are to be made payable to Home Modifications 2016 National Conference. Your name and full address should be typed or printed clearly on the back of the cheque. Cheque payments from overseas must be a bank cheque in Australian Dollars drawn on an Australian Bank. No other currency will be accepted.  After 25 March 2016, all registrations and accommodation bookings must be submitted online with credit card details at or by calling +61 2 9265 0700.

Cancellations must be notified in writing to the Conference Managers.

Registration Fees: 

Cancellations before 25 February 2016 will incur an A$150.00 cancellation fee.

Cancellations between 26 February 2016 and 24 March 2016 will receive a 50% refund of fees paid.

Cancellations after 25 March 2016 will receive no refund.


A minimum of one night’s deposit must be paid at the time of booking to guarantee your reservation.

The one nights deposit is non-refundable at 25 March 2016.

A deposit will be forfeited if you do not arrive on the date for which you have booked.



The program is correct at the time of publishing.  The organisers reserve the right to delete, modify or alter items from the program or to delete, modify or alter any aspect of the Conference timetabling and delivery at their sole discretion and without notice.  Neither the host organisation nor the Conference Managers will accept any liability for any loss or inconvenience caused to any party consequent to such changes.


The Conference Managers reserve the right to use any recordings whether audio or video and/or any photographs taken at any stage during the Conference for promotional, advertising or reporting of the Conference and/or its content at their sole discretion.
